A practice built around people, not appointments

Shire Family Medical is a family-owned, AGPAL-accredited GP medical centre in Sutherland — led by Dr Louis Traynor and registered nurse Rebel Traynor. As Sutherland Shire locals and parents themselves, Louis and Rebel operate this practice around one belief: that patients deserve to feel heard, supported and genuinely cared for over time.

Our team of GPs, nurses and support staff provides patient-centred general practice for individuals and families at every stage of life — from children to older adults — in a welcoming, inclusive setting.

Support Staff

Meet the rest of our care team

Our nursing team — Jackie, Kirstin, Ryan and Rebel — brings over 60 years’ combined experience, supporting your care across iron infusions, health assessments, GP Management Plans and immunisations. Michelle is our dietitian, helping patients work toward their nutrition and health goals. Lyndal manages practice administration, and Diane, Sophie and Lexi are here to help with bookings and general enquiries.
