We offer most services on-site, including minor procedures, iron infusions and travel vaccinations — with a focus on preventative care and long-term health.
Age‑appropriate health reviews, including general check‑ups, 45‑year health assessments, and 75‑year Medicare annual assessments. RMS medicals are also available.
Assessment, investigation, and management for infants through adolescents. Includes the 6‑week check–up before first immunisation.
We provide the full schedule of childhood immunisations on-site, in line with the National Immunisation Program.
Support through pre‑, peri‑, and post‑menopausal care; pregnancy support; osteoporosis prevention; and health advice and support across the lifespan.
Health assessments and preventative advice for men, including prostate, bowel, testicular and skin cancer risk, as well as cardiovascular health across life stages.
Culturally respectful health care designed to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients, including targeted health assessments to help close the gap.
Head-to-toe skin examinations with dermatoscopy and magnified inspection. Where clinically appropriate, cryotherapy or minor procedures can be performed, with referrals arranged as needed.
Routine ECG testing as needed — especially for patients aged 75 and older — and provided on referral by your GP to assess heart rhythm and health.
On-site pathology collection is available at the clinic. Results are sent directly to your GP.
Most travel vaccinations are provided on site to support your travel preparation. Shire Family Medical is accredited to provide Yellow Fever vaccination and can issue the required international certificate.
On‑site Ferinject injections for patients with iron deficiency when oral supplements aren't effective or appropriate. Includes supervision, administration by a nurse, and follow‑up planning.
Your nominated treating doctor for work-related injury — supporting you from initial assessment through to rehabilitation and return to work planning.
For medical needs outside our opening hours, we partner with Sydmed to provide bulk-billed, after-hours home visits. Care is available when the clinic is closed, ensuring continued support for our patients.
